Bishop Bernard of Cahors
Created Friday 21 March 2014
Bishop Bernard of Cahors seems to occur as follows in the Beaulieu documents:
- CXVII (997x1031, as 'magnificent lord' and priest, buyer and neighbour of land in lost location with Constantine)
- CXXXV (xC10th^ex, priest, witness to donation of land in Puy d'Arnac to Beaulieu)
- CLIV (1005x28, patron of the oratory of Notre Dame de Beaulieu and witness to its endowment by the monk Bernard, whose nephew will at some point succeed the bishop, an arrangement that appears to be anticipated already in this document).
