Bernard, a monk of Beaulieu, endowed an oratory to Our Lady, apparently as part of the monastic complex of St-Pierre de Beaulieu since its documents are in that cartulary and donations to it are also said to be to St-Pierre at its endowment. It is attested in two documents, both of very uncertain date, before our period of interest closes: these are Beaulieu CXXXVIII & CLIV, which means that at its earliest it is around by 997 but at its latest 1028, and the latter mention may even predate the former.
