xC10th^ex, a donation to St-Pierre de Beaulieu (here SS Pierre, Prime, Felicien & Amélius) by one Belieldis for the soul of her late husband Bernard, and her own and her parents'; she gives a vine in Astaillac, which has a public road on its first side and named owners on all the others, owners who include a monk of Figeac called Gauzbert (why does he have land out here, or indeed at all?) and a priest called Gauzbert. If the abbey should alienate or enfeoff the property one of the donor's kin may buy it back for twelve denarii. The signatures are odd, with two male witnesses, one of whom appears to be the priest Bernard so important at Beaulieu at this end of the century, preceding the donor's own signature and no more witnesses.
