St Totteringham's Day was the day when Arsenal fans celebrate the fact
that Tottenham can no longer catch Arsenal in the League. It is a
movable feast, but usually falls in March, April or May. It was the day
to collect on bets made by over-optimistic Spurs fans in the close
season who think that "this is the year".

Mind the gap...
It would appear Harry Redknapp has neglected to listen to the great
advice offered on London Underground and has not minded the gap. What
was a comfortable, bordering on insurmountable lead of 10 points has
fallen over two weekends to a narrow 4 point lead. Suddenly a St
Totteringham looks possible.
So without further wittering here is the key table:
| Games | Points | Points behind | (games left) | (max points)
| Spurs | 27 | 53 | |
| Arsenal | 27 | 49 | 4 | (11) | (82)
|
Keep believing Gunners! It isn't over yet, although Spurs must still be
favourites to finish above us. I imagine one or two Spurs fans are
feeling a little nervous right now.
