Beaulieu LXV

Created Monday 14 April 2014

Jan. 918, a donation to St-Pierre de Beaulieu by Bernard and his wife Adalguis of three manses at Puy d'Ayre (which they place in Turenne) and two in Viellefont, along with two slave families. The donors hold the usufruct under a cens of 12 denarii annually on St Peter's Day, and if Bernard is first to die his wife must hand over the Puy d'Ayre property and manage on the Vieillefont ones paying half that. Presumably if she dies first Bernard keeps the lot! The monastery only gets it all once both are dead.
