St Totteringham's Day was the day when Arsenal fans celebrate the fact that Tottenham can no longer catch Arsenal in the League. It is a movable feast, but usually falls in March, April or May. It was the day to collect on bets made by over-optimistic Spurs fans in the close season who think that "this is the year".

See the links on the left for more information.

    Almost certainly St Totteringham's Eve...

So City held on to the lead (just) and we can almost touch St Totteringhams...

Our next game is tomorrow and we need a point or more against Hull. If we want to finish second then we ought to beat them. So fingers crossed that tomorrow will be twenty years in a row.

    Mon May 4Hull City (a)
Sat May 9 Stoke City (a)
    Mon May 11Swansea (h)
Sat May 16 Hull City (h)
    Sun May 17Manchester Utd (a)
    Wed May 20Sunderland (h)
Sun May 24West Bromwich Albion (h) Everton (a)

So even if we can't get a point against Hull, I'd have though Stoke might help out or we'd get something against Swansea... Not long to go.

Twenty years in a row. Mind the gap!

    Possibly St Totteringham's Eve...

As I write this we are close to the brink. City are 1-0 up with about 25 minutes to play against Spurs. If things stay like that...

    Spurs3558+593(67)

If it stays like that then it unbelievably unlikely that Spurs can catch us but not yet impossible. Just one more point will do though...

    Update in 20minutes or so...
