St Totteringham's Day was the day when Arsenal fans celebrate the fact that Tottenham can no longer catch Arsenal in the League. It is a movable feast, but usually falls in March, April or May. It was the day to collect on bets made by over-optimistic Spurs fans in the close season who think that "this is the year".

See the links on the left for more information.

    Welcome to the new season...

Which so far looks similar to last season. And the season before.

Now is the time to get Spurs fans to bet that "this is the season!". It won't be because somehow despite all the problems we'll scrape ahead of them. I have no idea how we'll do it but we will. A reminder double or quits £1 bet started in 1995 would be a stake of £131,072 this year.

Anyway: this is really just a placeholder. I might update the 'blog tomorrow after the NLD if I feel up to it, but may not. To be honest the result tomorrow has little impact on St T's, but I still want to win, preferably 5-2...

The only big change from previous seasons is that I am no longer a season ticket holder at Arsenal. This is for various reasons, some football and some not, but should mean quicker updates after matches for readers of this page.

I added the line to the history page way back in May...
