    St Totteringham's Day was the day when Arsenal fans celebrate the fact that Tottenham can no longer catch Arsenal in the League. It is a movable feast, but usually falls in March, April or May. It was the day to collect on bets made by over-optimistic Spurs fans in the close season who think that "this is the year".

    Still behind with thirteen to go...

    As I start writing this it is into injury time at the WBA v Spurs game, with Spurs leading 1-0. That will give them back their four point lead that we reduced to one overnight.

    So we remain chasing them down. Whilst I'd normally be confident in Spurs having a collapse between now and the end of the season, I'm now also sure that so will Arsenal. The question is who will have the worse collapse.

    Four points isn't a huge gap for this stage of the season, so we might still have a St Ts... fingers crossed etc.

    The whistle has gone.
