Beaulieu XXXIII
Created Friday 07 March 2014
Mar. 859, a donation by Archbishop Raoul of Bourges of property to build a new monastery that will become St-Pierre de Beaulieu. This includes property at Beaulieu itself (as it was now to be called) but also an estate that had previously been the basis of the never-realised nunnery of Sarrazac and then only three years before this the equally unreal monastery of Végennes. Oddly, Raoul signs only as bishop.
