Nov. 898, a donation prompted by the approaching end of the world and so forth from Godfrid and his wife Godila to St-Pierre de Beaulieu, of a farmstead at Condat, including the demesne house where Godfrid himself lives, without any stated reservation; it comes with various demesne bits, eight tenanted manses and a church of Sainte-Marie; also conveyed are six manses with their tenants at Vallesuris and thirteen slave families plus others living there and at Friac who for some reason don't get listed. Among the witnesses are Count Adhémar of Poitiers, who is also a soul beneficiary, and therefore presumably Godfrid's patron.
