St Totteringham's Day was the day when Arsenal fans celebrate the fact that Tottenham can no longer catch Arsenal in the League. It is a movable feast, but usually falls in March, April or May. It was the day to collect on bets made by over-optimistic Spurs fans in the close season who think that "this is the year".

If it wasn't for the West Midlands...

Villa and the Baggies seem to know how to play us, but nobody else seems to.

An excellent opening to the season: top of the league (ahead of Liverpool on goals scored. 1989-retro style...) and playing quite well in Europe too.

Even better are Spurs two defeats: if they could chose two teams to lose to would it be Arsenal and West Ham?

So very early days but we have a tiny lead, and I'm happy with that.
