Although many people called Adalgar appear in the Beaulieu documents, a Puy d'Arnac man with ties to the abbey that lead him to witness there a lot seems to be more or less cosnistently represented by the appearances in Beaulieu:

• CLXII (887, witness to donation of lands in le Vert to Beaulieu)
• CLXIII (887, lead witness to the actual hand-over of the above properties to Beaulieu)
• CLXIII (887, another witness to the same hand-over)
• CLXXVI (887, witness to a donation of lands in Argentat to Beaulieu)
• CLV (893, witness to a donation of property in le Vert to Beaulieu, 'Aldegar')
• CXLII (894, witness to a donation of properties in Puy d'Arnac to Beaulieu)
• LXXXVII (895, witness to a donation of property in le Vert to Beaulieu)
• LXIX (909, final witness of donation of properties in Puy d'Arnac to Beaulieu).
