Poulton-le-Fylde is a station on the branch to Blackpool North just before the point where a former line branched off to Fleetwood.

The station front is on a road bridge over the railway, with steps leading down to an island with east and west bound platforms. The front of the station:

A canopy coveres much of the platform area with a central building. The end of the central building houses a small cafe:

The station is well cared for so there are plenty of hanging baskets as well as this garden:

Looking west from the road bridge the line heads left towards Blackpool, and the disused branch leads off to the right towards Fleetwood:
