Severn Tunnel Junction is the first Welsh station you reach after a trip through the tunnel from England. The line passes close to Caldicot but doesn't have any platforms there.
At Severn Tunnel Junction there's a car park with bike lockers and a rather temporary-looking station building:
Unlike most of the signs at the station, that on the station building only gives its name in English:
The platform next to the entrance is no longer in use and doesn't have a track next to it:
Further east, the area behind the platform has been fenced off:
A footbridge gives access to the active platforms from the entrance:
Platform 3 is for trains towards the tunnel, seen here looking east towards it:
And looking west towards the point where the Up Tunnel line separates from Up Main:
Platform 2 is adjacent to 3 and serves trains towards Gloucester, while Platform 1 stands alone for trains towards Newport. Both are seen here looking east:

There's a small brick building on the Platforms 2/3:
Behind Platform 3 is the Down Relief line, which has this small wooden platform:
