Melton station sign

Melton is on the East Suffolk Line from Ipswich to Lowestoft, and I had cause to visit it as the starting point for a walk around nearby Sutton Hoo. Now unmanned like the other stations along the line, the station building has found a new use as a local butcher's shop:

In the heat of the day, the shelter on the station's one platform was very welcome:
