Liskeard station is between Bodmin Parkway and Menheniot on the Great Western Main Line, and the junction with the branch line to Looe. The main station building has been renovated recently and houses a café as well as an information and ticket office:

The branch line platform 3 is over the road from the end of the mainline platforms, at right angles:

At the end of platform 3 the line curves steeply downwards and doubles back on itself on the way to Coombe Junction. To the right is the connection with the main line:
