Derby Road, on the branch from Ipswich to Felixstowe was in a sorry state when I visited it. The shelter on the Northbound platform was in the process of being demolished, apparently to be replaced with a modern bus-shelter style construction.

The old station building looks rather shabby, and is now used as the offices of a car dealership:

The building on platform 1 is being demolished. I expect it and its pillar will have gone by the time I next come this way:
