Beaulieu XLVIII

Created Wednesday 16 April 2014

Mar. 932, a donation to St-Pierre de Beaulieu by Viscount Frotar of Cahors, actually so entitled for once, and his wife Adalburga, of three manses at St-Julien de Casillac along with the church itself, and a house nearby at 'Lodorio', a manse with a landing-stage at Langlade, three manses at Saint-Sost with the church and its alod too, four manses with a landing-stage at Montmadron, a demesne homestead at 'Termenosa' with ten mnases and mills, the church of St-Sernin de Carennac and a manse at 'Flavino' with its church of St-Jean-Baptiste, for all of which the consent of Count Raimond III of Toulouse is required; he also witnesses. All of this is held back under a cens of twenty solidi to be paid annually on St Peter's Day as long as they live, though it seems that the 'Lodorio' property will go on Frotar's own death without waiting for his widow's. The donation is to benefit the couple's souls, Frotar's father Odolric's and his mother Beledindis's.
