Infinity pounamu

I made this for myself as a reminder of my software career. It’s a three-dimensional version of the symbol for infinity.

Pounamu, known in NZ English as greenstone and to scientists as nephrite jade, is found on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. The material is considered a taonga (treasure) by the Māori people and has been worked in a traditional manner for centuries.

The carving experience is made possible by Bonz ‘n Stonz in Hokitika.
