Out of the mess of attestations of persons called Gerald in the Beaulieu documents, three only seem sure to refer to the same guy, a tenant of a manse in Uzerche who, unusually for so low-level a person, also seems to witness a transaction there, perhaps telling us who his patron was. His occurrences are Beaulieu CXLVII (916), CVI (927x32) & CXLI (927x32).
