Galfred was the son of a man of the same name and his wife Elisabet, and he appears in their donation to Beaulieu of 923x35 (Beaulieu LVI) before turning up in his own right as witness in Beaulieu XXVIII and as donor again in Beaulieu LXXXVIII of properties in Puy d'Arnac, which seems to be the chunk of family property he inherits. He was brother to Persons:Guerno.
