30th Jul. 860, a gift by a priest called Autger who seems not to recur, of land in Fano, Superiana, Marzella and Paunac to the monastery of Beaulieu. The land at Fano, a place that like all of the above bar Paunac does not recur, was bought from the donor's father; one man who neighbours the properties there concerned several times, Golmar, also witnesses; another who occurs only twice, Amelio, does not. Two of the properties have final boundaries on public roads. The donation has a waiver that returns the property to the donor if the monastery be unstable in his lifetime; this presumably refers to something other than the still-ongoing construction...
