Ah, hmm, but the mailing list is the listed contact to the

That’s precisely what I said, the tomcat9 package was gone from
Debian for over a release when someone newly introduced the init
script to o-s-s, which I got a complaint about from a user.

That would be the first step, the one I asked for over a year ago.
The other thing would be something I can do in my package or to
my init script to avoid o-s-s overwriting it.

(gnutls can also be used, but if you are compiling lynx for your own use,
there is no reason to consider using that package)
