SysV init upstream

Hello fellow init lovers,

I wanted to pop in and introduce myself. My name is Jesse and I'm
currently the upstream maintainer for SysV init (as well as the startpar
and insserv utilities). I've been working on sysvinit for about 10
months now and have been gradually trying to upstream patches, fix bugs,
make things work smoother, etc.

Now that most of the bugs filed upstream have been dealt with, I'm
fishing through bug trackers, like Debian's, to hunt down and fix things
downstream users have reported.

If I can be some of help here - provide information, coordinate release
schedules, assist in fixing bugs - please let me know. Also, please feel
free to pop by the upstream mailing lists and bug tracker over at
