Dear Jesse,

thanks for coming over. You are very welcome. As I explained you, we
are working here to help maintaining sysvinit in Debian, and keeping
in touch with you is of utmost importance.

I have been exploring a bit your current repo (HEAD) and I noticed
that you have already merged some of the quilt patches still present
in Ben's one on salsa. I am now working to merge the upstream 2.91
with the repo provided by Ben and to re-shape it into a "gpb pq"
workflow.

I should be able to have a first experimental branch open for
comments/suggestions soon.
