In Devuan we introduced a choose-init d-i component, which is optional
and thus available only in expert mode. We also had to provide a
patched debootstrap, though. It would make sense to add an option to
debootstrap for that (choosing an init), but there has been no real
need for it so far, since most distros just provide one choice at
install time.
