I’ve heard they’d accept a patch to add an extra question (actually two,
first is init system, second (hidden if systemd) is usrmerge) in expert
mode. The more tricky part is an issue in debootstrap wrt. using include
and exclude to select the init system. I think I have some old mails
somewhere… (together with those about patching debootstrap to enable the
unreleased distribution for debian-ports architectures).
