And, as usual, the caveat: installing elogind changes the behaviour
of the system (e.g. it suddenly suspends or crashes (trying to suspend
but system isn’t set up to suspend), instead of properly either just
locking the screen or doing nothing at all, on closing of the laptop
lid).

If things work without elogind, I recommed staying clear off it.
