Similarly to Nottingham, Leicester's Midland Railway station is built on a bridge in red brick. Ornate Departures and Arrivals signs adorn the arches into the taxi rank area:
An octagonal tower adorns one end of the frontage:
Unfortunately, apart from the frontage, nearly all of the rest of Leicester station was completely rebuilt in modern times. The ticket hall:
