Hall Road station is on the very edge of Crosby, and only a short walk to the beach where the hundred statues of Antony Gormley's Another Place look out to sea. We explored the station a bit first, of course!

Platform 1, for trains towards Liverpool Central has two very attractive red brick buildings, both still in railway use. This one, nearest the footbridge, serves as the ticket office:

Further along platform 1 is a second building housing a waiting room and toilets:

The only remaining building on platform 2 is a little less well kempt:
