Wymondham station, on the line between Ely and Norwich, is very well maintained and a lovely place to wait for a train. While I didn't get to sample the Brief Encounter restaurant in the station building -- it was closed -- the gentleman who runs the place was happy to sell me a cold drink anyway.
The rear of the station building.
Looking West along the line towards Ely and Cambridge. There is a small museum in the station building on the Westbound platform.
Looking East towards Norwich from the footbridge.
The platform side of the Wymondham station building, with lots of flowers in bloom and signs to remind you of the station's former lives as part of the LNER and GER.
