From where I live, Waterbeach is a short walk along the River Cam, so I wandered up there on 22nd May 2004 to visit it. It was a particularly hot day, so I was grateful to be able to walk into the village for a cool half of cider and a snack before returning to the station to take a few pictures of its platforms.
The Northbound platform, for trains to Ely.
The level crossing separates the two staggered platforms.
The Southbound platform, for trains to Cambridge.
