From where I live, Waterbeach is a short walk along the River Cam, so I wandered up there on 22nd May 2004 to visit it. It was a particularly hot day, so I was grateful to be able to walk into the village for a cool half of cider and a snack before returning to the station to take a few pictures of its platforms.

Northbound platform The Northbound platform, for trains to Ely.

Level crossing The level crossing separates the two staggered platforms.

Southbound platform The Southbound platform, for trains to Cambridge.
