Thurstaston station is a disused station, preserved only as a couple of platforms on what is now the Wirral Way long distance path between West Kirby and Hooton. On a warm day we took the opportunity to cycle along it to the first of the day's presently open stations.
North of Thurstaston station is the Station road bridge:
