A friend recently moved her yacht from Brighton to Gosport, so a day out to check all was well after Storm Eunice involved a cheeky bit of station collection on the way!

We arrived on platform 3, from where we look back east along the line:

Adjacent to the end of platform 3 is the signalbox at the eastern end of the station, in the distinctive rounded style common to others along the line:

As we reach the canopy on platform 2 we can see the eastern end of platform 1 on the right and the bus station beyond. The grating underneath where the track for platform 2 would be highlights the fact that we're on a pier:

A footbridge joins platform 3 to platform 1, where the main station entrance is, but one can also continue along the platform for ferry services:

Platform 1 and its old wooden canopy from platform 3 opposite. The platforms are gated off from the station entrance and facilities by a long fence, which has ticket barriers just at the very left of this picture:
