Morecambe Promenade

Morecambe Promenade was the original name for what became Morecambe's only station after the cuts of the 1960s, and the building came out of railway use when the new Morecambe station opened in the 1990s. However, the old station buildings were retained and now house tourist information, fast food, and a couple of pubs.

The area in front of the station building is pedestrianised, and the front canopy covers the entrance to (some of) the current station occupiers. Looking south along the front of the station building:
