Micklefield is the last station in West Yorkshire on the line to York and Selby. We got off the train there to start a cycle ride to Pannal.
We arrived on platform 1:

Taking the footway under the road is the only way to get to the other side of the line. This is the approach to platform 1 on the south side of the line:
