We arrived at Maiden Newton by train, just as the skies were darkening to rain on us. The front of the station building:

This plaque was attached to the station building on platform 1, but somewhat embarrassingly it only received planning permission after the fact. Oops.

Maiden Newton is a passing loop on an otherwise single-track line, and the start of the loop can be seen looking north from the end of platform 1:
