Liverpool South Parkway is two stations in one, really. It replaced Allerton on the same site and Garston a little way west and provides a slightly extended interchange between Merseyrail's Northern and City Lines and other services to/from Liverpool, as well as a bus station linking the station to John Lennon Airport.
