Hertford North

Having arrived in Hertford at Hertford East, the end of a branch from the line between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street, I walked across town to Hertford North as the rain began to fall. The station entrance:

The entrance leads into a covered concourse area, from which steps lead up to platform level. (There is a lift, but it only serves the island platform.)

The closest platform to the station entrance is platform 1, here looking north:
