Guiseley is a small station on the branch line towards Ilkley, the next station in that direction being Menston, only a couple of kilometres away.

Approaching the station from the road bridge to its south east, one first sees this small train on the traffic island:

Proceeding towards the entrance on the western side of the line, this building is striking:
