Glasshoughton station is very new, opened only in 2005, and serves the nearby Xscape leisure complex, where we had dinner.

The front of the station, north of the line, faces the leisure centre:

A bridge spans both the railway line and the road between it and the leisure centre. Looking through the entrance shelter at the station, with the bridge above:

On platform 2 for trains east towards Pontefract Monkhill and Knottingley:

Steps lead up to the overbridge, but there is a long winding ramp as well:
