Elsenham is a small station on the line between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street. Sadly it came to prominence in 2005 when two teenage girls were killed on the level crossing there, taking a chance by crossing the line in spite of the red lights and klaxons. When I visited, there was a large number of floral tributes in the station's garden:
