Brighouse station forms a junction between Metro's Caldervale line and the Huddersfield line and has trains to Bradford Interchange, Huddersfield and Leeds. We visited on a hot day with midges and pollen thick in the air.
The station lies in the gap formed by two road bridges, Huddersfield Road, in the centre of this picture, and Gooder Lane, from which this overview of the station was taken:
