Apperley Bridge is a new station, opening in 2015, so you'd think they'd have considered giving it a name that was less easily confused with ! But they didn't, so I imagine generations of the misdirected await.
As most new stations do, Apperley Bridge has a large car park, which runs right up to the entrance to the platforms:
The bridge predates the station:

The two platforms are staggered, one either side of the bridge. This is the entrance to platform 1, and you can see beyond the fence "The Avenue" which once connected with this bridge:
Platform 1 is reached down this ramp:

Looking west along the line:
A small sign next to the bridge just west of the station:
Both platforms have a shelter to provide some cover from the rain, though they're not heated and won't help if it's windy. Here's platform 1's shelter:
As well as the ramp, steps also provide access to the platform; they're to the right as we look west along platform 1:
Back up on the bridge, a view of the whole of platform 1:
A similar view of platform 2 from the bridge. The ramp and steps lead from the platform to the car park off to the right:
The ramp (and steps, on the right) down to platform 2:
Gates can close the access to the platform to allow vehicles to pass down what is evidently a maintenance track of some sort:
