I know Roald Dahl's adult writing is usually good, and the general themes of this collection sounded interesting and amusing. But the main reason for reading this was that I saw it and Over to You in Oxford's Oxfam Bookshop, in these lovely 70s editions, and wanted to buy the pair (and possibly start a collection) -- and I had to read them to justify buying them.
