I know Roald Dahl's adult writing is usually good, and these sounded interesting (and topical). But the main reason for reading this was that I saw it and Switch Bitch in Oxford's Oxfam Bookshop, in these lovely 70s editions, and wanted to buy the pair (and possibly start a collection) -- and I had to read them to justify buying them.
