Struct tor_netdoc::doc::netstatus::SharedRandVal
source · [−]Expand description
A shared-random value produced by the directory authorities.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.n_reveals: u8How many authorities revealed shares that contributed to this value.
value: Vec<u8>The current random value.
The properties of the secure shared-random system guarantee that this value isn’t predictable before it first becomes live, and that a hostile party could not have forced it to have any more than a small number of possible random values.
