   7 It is just before winter [[1216|Date/1216]].  Seven years ago the covenant invited
   8 a bunch of scholars who were fleeing riots in Oxford to come and set
   9 up a University; which has been bimbling along apace.  The Schola sits <del>near</del> on the outside of the University-in-formation but is friendly and
  10 cooperative with it.

  12 Canonically the Schola only accepts magi with the Gentle Gift, but I'm
  13 going to weaken that and say just not the Blatent Gift.

  15 Time will run fast, I'm thinking at least a year or two per story, and
  16 GMing will hopefully be fairly troupe-based.  I'm going to try and
  17 streamline bookkeeping as much as possible without breaking the more
  18 flavourful stuff.  Players should expect to play all of Companion,
  19 Mage, and Grog(s) at different times.  I don't see any reason why
  20 players couldn't have sociable mages (indeed Jerbitons fit!) and less
  21 sociable companions; but characters who don't get playtime will get
  22 targetted by story…

  24 This will be a troupe-style game; please bring your own creativity,
  25 and don't worry about breaking the "main plot"…

  27 I'm also happy running anciliary/sideline one-on-one or one-on-few
  28 stuff in downtime potentially with [[Meta/FuzzyTime]], either by email
  29 or on the wiki depending how private you want to be.  (If anyone else
  30 has spare time for running such stuff that'd be great too, but no
  31 commitment!)
