   7 Angelo arranged a vis-hunting expedition to the site of the former covenant at Stellasper. While locating the four sources of vis known to the Mercere that were on the islands, Johannes, Angelo, Maui, Robert and Fergus work to solve the mystery of what happened to the old Covenant and deal with a cabal of infernalist pirates who had set up on the islands.
