Backup remote host with ssh

Hello,

I am trying to configure rsbackup as a backup server to backup remote hosts. The only configuration example I found were for mounted disks.
I have several VM's running in Ganeti and I would like to backup some directories and files with SSH with rsbackup, which runs on a dedicated VM.
Can you provide me please with one or two examples how to configure the files to backup and where to backup. Further more is it possible to configure incremental and full backup?
